Care Instructions for Dye-Sublimated Apparel
Machine wash inside-out
with cold water and tumble dry on low heat or line dry. For best results use
mild detergent and avoid the use of fabric softener and dryer sheets.
Impress Athletix
sublimated uniforms and apparel are 100% Polyester and achieve their look
through a technique called Dye Sublimation. Artwork is printed onto a sheet of
high-release paper and transferred onto apparel using heat and pressure. Heat
converts the solid dye particles into a gas — known as sublimation — and bonds
them to the polyester fibers. Unlike screen printing, the dye is absorbed by
the fabric for a fantastic soft-to-the-hand feel.
Each item is unique and
will vary from shirt to shirt. Expect to have smudges and blurs over seams, as
well as areas of creasing near the edges. It is common and expected for image
gapping to occur under the armpits and on seams.

Steps in the Order Process
· Initial Inquiry - you call or email us, and we talk about
your needs
· Artwork Design – graphic designers interpret your request and
send you mock-up
· Artwork Approval – you and your team review and approve. Be careful
no changes allowed once approved!
· Submitting sizes, names, and numbers – the order cannot be
submitted without a complete list. Be sure that if submitting names, they are
in the proper case (usually upper) and of course spelled correctly.
· Production – factory produces your fully custom uniform or
apparel in 2 weeks
· Delivery – allow 2 - 5 business days for product to arrive.
Rushed production
turnaround time is 15-18 business days. Rush charge will apply.
A minimum 50% deposit is required to get started
on your order. Rush orders require full payment. The balance is due
two weeks after initial deposit. By paying for this order, you are agreeing to
our No Refund & No Returns policy.
Minimum Order
10 Pieces per
style/graphic. You can combine sizes to reach this minimum – but not other
styles or artwork.
What’s Included in the
Price?
Price includes - all
customization, art and as many print locations as you want that is the same for
each uniform. Adding custom names and numbers, on each garment is $3.50 for one
and $5.00 for both. There are upcharges for sizes 2xl-6xl ($1 per x, i.e. 2xl =
$2) and for shipping. (We do not use shipping as a profit center but seek to
charge actual cost for shipping from Kansas City).
Design Fee
A $50 design fee is
required to begin working on concepts and artwork. This fee will be applied to
the balance of your order if an order is placed within two weeks of providing
customers a mock-up. If no order is placed the fee will be retained by Impress
Athletix, LLC for time spent on the order. Impress Athletix, LLC retains
ownership of all design concepts generated by us.
What if I Need to Add
Another Garment at a Later Date?
This is very common, and
we will ship your add-ons within one week. You will pay the same price as your
previous order (for up to one year or 3 add-on orders). There is a $25 set-up
fee each time you place a Fill-In/Add-on order whether you order 1 to 9
fill-ins. At 10 pieces it is considered a new order and there is no set-up fee,
but the current list price will apply.
Sizing
Our products are made in
accordance with the measurements on our size chart and sizing samples with a
tolerance of +/-10%. We do offer our clients to a sizing sample that must
be returned. We do not offer refunds or
exchanges for items that were ordered in the wrong size. Unless we sent the
wrong size.
What about Fit? There
is a sizing chart available for each category of product. These can be found on
our website. We work hard to make sure our product is true to size. If we miss
at all on sizing we always try to miss on the large side. It is very important
that you review our size chart and measure a couple of the recipients to select
the right sizing.
Colors
The colors on your
uniforms and apparel is selected by using the Pantone color code selected in
your designs or the closest Pantone color code based on the designs. Pantone
colors are always displayed on your artwork. If you require any specific color
codes, those must be provided to us. Every color will print a differently on
the fabric after printing depending on the GSM, weight and type. For this
reason, we do not offer refunds for color issues for shades of color. Only
obvious mistakes in color (i.e. Navy instead of Sky Blue) will be eligible for
refunds.
Designs & Graphics
The designs we make for
you are a general representation of the uniforms and apparel that you’re going
to receive. We try our best to match exactly what you see in our designs, but
we cannot guarantee it 100%. Things such as placement, sizes of logos and
numbers, graphics, outlines and other design specifications must be noted in writing
and confirmed in the design template in order for us to reproduce it correctly.
For this reason, we do not offer refunds for design issues.
Turnaround Time
Our turnaround time is an
average of 20-25 business days (4-5 weeks). Turnaround time is defined as time
from order confirmation to ship date. Impress Athletix, LLC is not liable for
shipping time. Generally, shipping time is only 3 days but delays with FedEx,
DHL, USPS, and UPS do happen. Turnaround time starts from the moment the
designs are confirmed, the sizes/numbers are confirmed, and the payment is
made. If any of this stuff is missing, our turnaround time might be prolonged.
We can produce uniforms and apparel as quickly as 3 weeks (15 business days) if
there is a rush charge applied to your order. Depending on the order size, type
of apparel, current production demand and other specifications, there might be
factors that make our turnaround time longer for your order. While we
understand how important it is to deliver your apparel on time, and we take
every measure to fulfill this need, it is impossible for us to guarantee
on-time delivery. For this reason, we do not offer refunds for orders that are
late. We do refund rush fees if it was a rush production order.
Cancellation
An order is started as
soon as a payment is made. Orders must be cancelled before production is
started which is generally 24 hours. If an order is asked to be cancelled before
production is started there will be a cancellation fee which is enforced to
recoup our expenses (printing, fabrics, designs, labor, etc.). Below is
our sunk-cost fee structure based on time that has passed:
1-2 days = 15%. In the rare occasion that an
order is not in production after 48 hours, cancellation fees will be as
follows: 3 days = 25%. 4 days = 35%. 5-7 days = 50%. 8+ days = 100%. If the order is in production, it cannot be cancelled,
and full payment is required.
How Do I Pay?
You will be invoiced when
you approve the artwork and provide your quantities or roster. There is a button
on the invoice for Credit Card payment or ACH direct from your checking account.
A 50% deposit is required to start production. The balance will be collected at
the time of shipment.

ensure the product requested is in accordance with the vision of our customer
prior to production to try and avoid any of the concerns listed above. Please
ask as many questions as you need to be content the order being produced is the
order requested.
