Impress Athletix specializes in custom-manufactured products created specifically for each customer, team, school, business, organization, or event. Because these products are manufactured to your unique specifications, they require special production processes and are subject to the terms outlined in this Custom Product Policy.
By requesting a quote, approving artwork, submitting payment, placing an order, or purchasing any custom product from Impress Athletix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.
Relationship to Other Policies
This Custom Product Policy supplements our Website Terms & Conditions.
If a provision of this Policy conflicts with another Impress Athletix policy regarding custom-manufactured products, this Custom Product Policy will control to the extent of that conflict.
All other Website Terms & Conditions remain in full force and effect.
Scope
This Policy applies to all custom, personalized, decorated, made-to-order, and special-order products sold by Impress Athletix, including purchases made through:
- Our website
- Team Stores
- Third-party sales platforms (including Chipply and other authorized platforms)
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Purchase orders
- In-person sales
- Event merchandise booths
- Fundraising programs
Products covered include, but are not limited to:
- Custom uniforms
- Sublimated apparel
- Screen printed apparel
- Embroidered apparel
- Spirit wear
- Team apparel
- Promotional products
- Event merchandise
- Personalized apparel
- Corporate apparel
- Banners
- Pop-up tents
- Table covers
- Bags
- Drinkware
- Awards
- Athletic accessories
- Other made-to-order merchandise

Custom Manufacturing
Every custom product is manufactured specifically for the customer.
Because these products cannot be returned to inventory or resold, all custom products are produced under the terms of this Policy.
Artwork Approval
Whenever applicable, Impress Athletix will provide a digital proof before production.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing every proof, including:
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Team names
- Organization names
- Business names
- Athlete names
- Jersey numbers
- Logos
- Colors
- Artwork placement
- Product style
- Product configuration
- Overall layout
Production begins only after written or electronic approval has been received.
Approval constitutes acceptance of every element shown on the proof.
Proof Approval Deadline
To help maintain estimated production schedules, customers should approve or request revisions within five (5) business days of receiving a proof.
Failure to respond promptly may delay production and delivery.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted for production, including:
- Names
- Numbers
- Sizes
- Quantities
- Shipping information
- Logos
- Artwork
- Sponsor information
- Personalization
- Dates
Errors discovered after proof approval become the customer's responsibility.
Requested changes after approval may result in:
- Additional artwork fees
- Reprint charges
- Production delays
- Additional shipping costs
Design Assistance
Impress Athletix may provide design assistance and recommendations.
However, customers remain solely responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork, specifications, colors, spelling, and production details before manufacturing begins.
Colors & Pantone® Matching
Digital proofs are intended for design reference only.
Although Impress Athletix makes commercially reasonable efforts to match approved Pantone® colors when provided, exact color reproduction cannot be guaranteed.
Variations may occur because of:
- Fabric composition
- Material type
- Decoration method
- Dye sublimation
- Screen printing
- Embroidery thread
- Lighting conditions
- Monitor calibration
- Manufacturing processes
Minor color variation is considered commercially acceptable.
Customers requiring exact color matching are encouraged to request physical samples or material swatches before production begins.
Artwork Placement & Manufacturing Tolerances
Commercial manufacturing involves accepted production tolerances.
Normal variations include:
- Print placement up to ±0.50 inch
- Small logo placement up to ±0.25 inch
- Embroidery placement within industry standards
- Panel alignment
- Seam placement
- Stitching
- Hems
- Zipper placement
- Hook-and-loop placement
- Graphics crossing seams or multiple panels
These variations do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Size Tolerances
Finished products are manufactured according to published specifications.
Normal tolerances include:
- Garment measurements ±5%
- Sewn products ±10%
- Fabric stretch
- Fabric shrinkage
- Finished dimension variation
Customers are responsible for reviewing available size charts before ordering.
Incorrect sizes selected by the customer are not eligible for return or exchange.
Dye Lots & Material Variation
Textiles are manufactured in dye lots.
Accordingly:
- Colors may vary slightly between production runs.
- Reorders may not perfectly match previous orders.
- Fabric texture may vary.
- Fabric weight may vary.
- Material sheen may vary.
These variations are inherent to textile manufacturing.
Promotional Products
Promotional products are manufactured using accepted industry production standards.
Commercially acceptable variations may include:
- Imprint placement
- Imprint size
- Color reproduction
- Packaging
- Production overruns or underruns
- Material substitutions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these variations are not considered defects.
Product Samples & Virtual Proofs
Physical samples, digital renderings, mockups, virtual proofs, and website images are intended to represent the finished product as accurately as possible.
Final production may vary slightly due to manufacturing methods and materials.
Supplier Availability & Manufacturer Changes
Manufacturers may discontinue or revise products without notice.
Changes may include:
- Fabrics
- Materials
- Colors
- Trims
- Components
- Construction methods
- Product styles
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, Impress Athletix may:
- Substitute a comparable product of equal or greater quality;
- Recommend an alternative product;
- Obtain customer approval when practical; or
- Cancel the affected portion of the order and issue an appropriate refund.
Manufacturer revisions are considered normal industry practice and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Production Schedule
Production begins only after all required items have been received, including:
- Final artwork approval
- Complete roster (if applicable)
- Complete sizing
- Final quantities
- Required payment
- Any requested customer information
Production timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Customer Delays
Production schedules depend upon timely customer responses.
Artwork revisions, delayed approvals, missing information, roster changes, sizing revisions, or delayed payment will extend estimated production timelines.
Impress Athletix is not responsible for missed event dates resulting from customer-caused delays.
Event Deadlines
Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient time for:
- Artwork development
- Proof approval
- Production
- Shipping
before tournaments, competitions, championships, banquets, trade shows, fundraisers, or other scheduled events.
While Impress Athletix will make every reasonable effort to meet requested schedules, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific event date unless expressly agreed in writing.
Rush Orders
Rush production may be available depending upon manufacturer capacity.
Rush service:
- Is not available for every product
- May require additional fees
- Must be approved before production begins
- Does not guarantee delivery when delays occur outside our reasonable control
Reorders
Reorders are manufactured using product specifications available at the time production begins.
Because manufacturers may revise products over time, Impress Athletix cannot guarantee future orders will exactly match previous orders.
Customer-Supplied Products
If Impress Athletix agrees to decorate customer-supplied garments or merchandise, reasonable care will be exercised during production.
However, Impress Athletix is not responsible for damage resulting from normal decoration processes, including heat application, embroidery, screen printing, transfers, or other production methods.
Customer-supplied products are accepted entirely at the customer's risk.
Photography
Unless otherwise agreed in writing before production begins, Impress Athletix may photograph completed products before shipment for:
- Quality control
- Order verification
- Employee training
- Portfolio use
- Website content
- Social media
- Marketing materials
Projects subject to a written confidentiality agreement will not be displayed publicly.
Quotes & Artwork Concepts
Quotations, artwork concepts, production estimates, and pricing are valid only for the period specified in the quotation.
Pricing, product availability, and estimated production schedules may change after the quotation expires.
File Retention
Impress Athletix may retain artwork and production files to facilitate future reorders.
However, Impress Athletix is under no obligation to permanently archive customer files.
Customers should maintain copies of all original artwork submitted for production.
Cancellations
Custom orders may only be cancelled before production begins.
Cancellation fees may apply based upon artwork completed, materials ordered, and production expenses incurred.
Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.
Returns & Manufacturing Defects
Returns and exchanges for custom products are governed by our Return & Exchange Policy.
Because custom products are manufactured specifically for each customer, they are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless a verified manufacturing defect exists.
Verified manufacturing defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
Acceptance of a delivered order without reporting a manufacturing defect within the applicable reporting period constitutes acceptance of the product.
Care Instructions
Customers are responsible for following all product care instructions.
Damage caused by improper washing, drying, storage, installation, misuse, or normal wear is not covered.
Customer Artwork
Customers certify they own or have permission to reproduce all submitted:
- Logos
- Trademarks
- Artwork
- Graphics
- Names
- Photographs
Customers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Impress Athletix from claims arising from unauthorized use of submitted materials.
Design Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Artwork created by Impress Athletix remains the property of Impress Athletix.
- Editable production files, templates, mockups, and design concepts are not transferred to the customer.
- Customers receive a non-exclusive license to use the approved design solely on products purchased from Impress Athletix.
Storage of Completed Orders
Customers selecting local pickup, event pickup, or organization distribution should retrieve completed orders promptly.
Orders remaining unclaimed for more than 30 days after notification may be subject to storage fees or disposal where permitted by law unless prior arrangements have been made.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Impress Athletix's total liability arising from any custom order shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected product.
Impress Athletix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including:
- Lost profits
- Lost fundraising revenue
- Missed tournaments
- Travel expenses
- Event costs
- Business interruption
Force Majeure
Impress Athletix shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- Supplier delays
- Labor shortages
- Transportation interruptions
- Customs inspections
- Government actions
- Power outages
- Pandemics
- Other force majeure events
Entire Policy
This Custom Product Policy, together with our Website Terms & Conditions and any policies incorporated by reference, constitutes the complete agreement governing custom-manufactured products sold by Impress Athletix.
